Wow... as soon as I started typing, tears began to form.
Long before I could even fathom the thought of forming a non-profit, I would always think of ways to show appreciation for my mom. The amount of love I receive(d) from my mother was overwhelming. How could I possibly return that?...
Truth is I can't. I mean maybe once I get my own child?.. For now, the only way to show gratitude to my mama is to spread the love by examples, testimonies, and most of all free outings and give-a-ways. At most, I want to make sure other mothers and daughters feel the same infinite completion as we felt. I know that it's common, but when I come across other mothers and daughters that have a torn relationship, it really cuts me in a deep place. Most of the time the problem lies within mal-communication and dishonesty.
For clarity, my mom and I have had countless amounts of disagreements. Especially in my teenage years. However, through it all the love was there. She always redirected me in the direction of success. Furthermore, she ALWAYS "kept it real."
See, the thing is: a temporary disagreement does not have to be the foundation of the relationship. It takes two to make this right. We have to move forward and raise strong, independent, conscious women.
Sometimes we need a little help getting over the hump. MD4L is here to help you. I don't care what the issue is; it can be money, negativity, time, nothing to talk about.. whatever. MD4L is here to sponsor your outing so that you can make lasting memories. We want you to fill that bucket with positivity.
My mom loved me so much for all of us... I mean she's not Jesus but you get the point. That being said, we want to channel that love into other relationships.
